We will travel in a four wheel drive SUV from La Paz situated at 3600 m (11811 f) in a arid La Paz river valley over a Cumbre pass at 4660 m (15289 f) with views of glacier covered Cordillera Real mountain range, visit the Cotapata National Park, and then rapidly descent along a true mountain road, so called "Death road ", supposedly the most dangerous road on Earth, through cloud forests to Huarinilla river valley, covered with mountain jungle, at 900 m (2953 f), and then visit Tocaña, one of the few Afro-Bolivian villages. Eventually we will climb back up to the lovely village of Coroico, with pleasant climate and magnificent views at 1800 m (5905 f).
